Good site prep is everything. You can have the best hydroseed mix in the world, but if the ground underneath isn't ready, you're not going to get the results you're after. That's why we always start here - getting the dirt right before anything else happens.
We hauled the skid steer out to get the site graded and prepped. Loose debris, uneven spots, compacted areas that won't hold seed - all of it gets addressed before we ever think about laying down hydroseed. It's not glamorous work, but it's what separates a strong, even germination from a patchy mess.
Hydroseed is one of the most efficient ways to establish grass across large or uneven areas. The slurry - a mix of seed, mulch, fertilizer, and water - gets sprayed directly onto the prepped soil and bonds to the surface. It holds moisture, protects the seed from erosion, and gives everything it needs to take root fast. But none of that works if the ground hasn't been properly set up first.
We're fired up to watch this one green up. There's something satisfying about starting with bare dirt and knowing exactly what's coming. Stay with us - the before and after on this one is going to be worth seeing.
